Our mission according to 'travelafricanews.com' boss

The publisher and editor of travelafricanews.com, Lucky Onoriode George has restated his commitments to promoting Nigeria and Africa tourism in positive lights for as long as he remains in the travel and tourism industry.

He stated this while assessing the performance of his site since he began publishing online news in October 2007. Lucky noted that of the 36,000 visitors to his site so far, visitors in the United States of America top the chart, followed by Nigeria and the United Kingdom in third position.

With the aforementioned, he‘s convinced that his efforts will soon yield is initial expectation and thereby restate his mission and commitment.

“Our mission is to provide top-quality writing that will not only entertain, but inspire our readers to explore Africa for themselves”. Noting that, ‘travelafricanews.com’ will provide content that goes beyond the usual articles carried in newspaper travel sections”.

 We want people to know more than how to get to a place or what to do there and said that “We will want to establish relationship with those or people who call this destination home, the treasured regional customs, or the places where locals hang out. We want to smell the aromas, taste the food, explore the streets and walk down hidden paths. Our main target is to help our readers experience a destination”.
 
Our publication will carry a main destination piece that focuses on one particular place in the world; The Insider a destination piece written from a local or native point of view (can also be written 'as told to'); Fascinating People an article profiling a person of interest in any part of Africa.

Niche travel from adventure travel to ecotourism; Off-the-beaten Path a special find that most travellers would never see; It Really Happened a first-person essay on a crazy, heart-warming or simply entertaining tale of life on the road will also be looked at.
