Miss Emma Ime Ntia emerges Miss Tourism Akwa Ibom

Elegance, class and grace best describe the 2007 Miss Akwa Ibom State
beauty pageant. This year’s group of contestants includes a future
doctor, lawyer, model, academic and an ambassador all from Akwa Ibom State
strutting it on the runway at the ritzy Le Meridien Ibom Hotel andGolf
Resort.

After the storm, the night was silent, the weather was clement and the insects were chirping away in the sounding woods. Away in the 19-Hole
 Golf Course, in the expansive idyllic environment of the resort, nature
 was at its best on the night of Saturday 20th October.

The hall was full to its brim. Government officials, politicians and
 the working class all came out to witness the Annual Miss Akwa Ibom State
 Beauty Pageant Show.

The pageant which had 14 beautiful finalists was tight and keen.
 From 10pm when the show started till dawn, the audience had a swell time
 with intermittent entertainment with budding artistes from Akwa Ibom
 and a standing blessed musical band.

Miss Emma Ime Ntia, 20 year old, 100 Level Student of Mathematics and
 Statistics from the nearby University of Calabar, Cross River State.
 Home of TINAPA Business Resort, Nigeria emerged the QUEEN. She rode back
 home triumphantly in a 2007 CHEVROLET AVEO LT.

According to her, God the made this day I kept faith with him
 and he has not let me down. Miss Emma hails from Abak Local Government
 of the oil rich Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. She 5 feet 7 inches tall,
 Statistics is 35:29:39. Her favorite color Pink, because it symbolizes
 philanthropy and she hopes to be an Academic.

Her pet willproject includes help the Poor and Needy in the Society.
 According to the Chairman Organizing Committee, Mr. Usen Udoh, also the
 Chairman Local Chapter of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria
 (FTAN), the is a 7-Point Agenda in place within which the Queen will
 locate her pet projects. This include, Building the Platform of her
 Majesty Office to teach volunteer youth some basic Tourism skills such as
 Tour Guiding Catering and Hotel Management Skills among others. Indeed
