The flagship of Nigeria tourism industry popularly known as Obuda Cattle Ranch has rebranded and it’s now called Obudu Mountain Resort. Gabe Onah Special adviser on tourism to the Cross River State governor disclosed this recently while briefing journalists at the resort. He said the new manager of the resort African Sun Hotels of Zimbabwe insisted that the name has to change for marketability purposes.

Ghana: Tourism Industry Submits Proposal to President Mills

The Private Sector of Ghana's Tourism industry under the umbrella of the Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF) has delivered a letter full of recommendations to His Excellency President Mills. The proposal titled 'Recommendations on How to Stimulate Ghana's Economy through Tourism' was delivered on Wednesday, January 21 by the President of GHATOF to the Chairman of the Transitional Team on the Social Sector with particular reference to the Tourism Team.

Nigerian government May Sanction BA, Delta Airlines For Poor Services

Nigerian Aviation minister, Babatunde Omotoba, has said that the Federal Government of Nigeria may sanction British Airways and Delta Airlines for the uncouth methods they have adopted in handling their Nigerian passengers in recent times. He said, this week, that the maltreatment was a clear violation of the rules of the International Civil Aviation Organisation, (ICAO).
